For our first experience in a new culture we have decided to join a group of 15 for a 29 day introduction ( see
http://www.gadventures.com/trip_details/ATIE/2012/ for a detailed itinerary) to the region before embarking on our own for 35 day stretch to the Phuket beaches and islands. It will be backpacking and traveling by plane, train, boat, bus, tuktuk and hiking. We're all booked and leaving on January 17th, 2012 and returning March 21, 2012 for a combined 65 day adventure. Very exciting!!
